Blood Donation Camp on 10th Oct. 11 at Badve Group

On occasion of our MD Shri. Shrikant Badve ’s Birthday on 10/10/2011, like every year this year also blood donation camp at various Plants of  Badve Group was arranged. 658 blood bottles units were donated voluntarily by employees.

QCFI Aurangabad chapter had conducted QC/Kaizen Allied case study, Poster, Poem competition at JNEC Aurangabad.

Badve Engineering Ltd –Unit –I & Unit-II ( Silencer  Div ) have won Awards on following Themes out of total participation of 14 Quality circles & 35 no. of Kaizen.

Bharari  Team  ( Silencer Div.- Khandewadi Plant  ) won  ‘BEST in Manufacturing Stream’

Samarth Team  ( Silencer Div.- Khandewadi Plant  ) won ‘BEST in Manufacturing Support’

Om Team  (Silencer Div.- Waluj Plant  ) won Gold Award

- To reduce ‘Set up and Adjustment Loss at Paint Shop’.
- To reduce ‘Motion Loss at Mould Shop’.

Vedant Team  ( Paint Shop ) won  Runner Up Trophy
Nirman Team  ( Mould Shop ) won  Gold Award

ILO Innovation Level II :

LGEIL Pune has carried out ILO - Level I & Level II innovation activity at different supplier end from 18/03/2011 to 11/06/2011.

The innovation activity was carried out by Korean consultant Mr.Jean along with LGEIL Pune VSD team.

Participant for Level I : M/s. SVS Refcomp & M/s Starion India Pvt.Ltd.
Participant for Level II : M/s Badve Engineering Ltd. & M/s ABS India

Kick-off ceremony was organized on dated 18/03/2011 at LGEIL.

After completion of activity, benchmarking tour was organized at participant end on 11th June 2011 in which participant's MD's, Plant Heads, Mr.Govindraj - LGEIL Pune FH, Mr. Jean - (Innovation consultant) & LGEIL VSD Team took plant round.

On 20th June 2011, closing cum award ceremony was organized at LGEIL Pune. In which Badve Engineering Limited has received Best Innovation Award at the hands of respected Mr.Govindraj LG Factory Head, Pune.

After award ceremony Mr. Han, Mr. Kim, Mr. Jean, all PPH Head along with VSD team took round at Badve Engineering Limited.

MCCIA Function chaired by our MD :

MCCIA held the Parkhe Awards Presentation Ceremony on 12th June 2011 at Pune. Mr Shrikant Badve, our MD was invited as the Chief Guest and the Awards were presented at his hands. The thoughts expressed by him were well-appreciated by the Award Winners and the audience.

Quality Circle Forum of India   Kaizen competition :

Quality circle forum of India   organized   Kaizen competition in  Jawaharlal  Nehru Engineering college .

The competition was inaugurated by Mr. P.K.Hingolikar,  CEO BCL SPRINGS . In the competition total 28 teams from various   companies like Bajaj Auto , Verroc Engineering , Endurance , Badve Engineering , Metalman Auto ,TVS , BCL SPRING AND  JKNEC STUDENT had participated .. The judges for the competition were namely , Mrs .Pradyna Deshmukh , Mr.Surakj Kadam , & Mr.Nitin Fafat . The competition was really very tough.

From Badve polymer unit-V  two teams  namely Vedanta and Nirman took part.  The Participants were  - Mr.H E Gadekar Mr. V.A Bhorpe Mr. S.N.Dengale Mrs. S S Sengupta & Mr. U.M.Patil

Facillitator  - Mr. D.N. Patil & Mr. M.N.Dharme

Both team received Gold  Award at the   hands of  respected Shri Tripathi sir -BAL Waluj.  Also Mr. Pratap Borade and  Mr. Sudhir Deshmukhh   were present for the event .
